Spicy Feta Dip

spicy feta dip

This Spicy Feta Dip, which is Greek in origin, is a combination of Feta and Roasted Red Peppers with chilies.

I prefer to use Chipolte olive oil to drizzle on the top instead of the regular olive oil and cayenne powder.

It is yummy when served with toasted pita bread triangles, hummus chips or fresh vegetables…

and you have a quick and easy appetizer that’s sure to be a hit!

Inspiration Cook's Illustrated

Ingredients

  • 8 Oz (250 gm) Greek Feta Cheese
  • 1 cup roasted red peppers (drained and patted dry)
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 Tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Garnish (Optional)

  • 1 Tbsp Chipolte olive oil

Directions

Blend all ingredients together in a food processor until mostly smooth. Pour dip into a dish and refrigerate for an hour before serving.
Top with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle of cayenne pepper and parsley (if desired) before serving. I often substitute the chipolte olive oil for the olive oil and cayenne mixture.
